What is Novaluzid® ?

This contains the two medicines magnesium hydroxide and aluminium hydroxide.

What is Novaluzid® used for?

Novaluzid is used to treat acid-related conditions affecting the stomach, such as indigestion (dyspepsia), and/or heartburn due to inflammation of the gullet (the swallowing pipe called the oesophagus).

How does Novaluzid® work ?

Both aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are called antacids. Antacids relieve heartburn and indigestion and work by neutralising stomach acid, which causes the symptoms of indigestion and heartburn.

How is Novaluzid® given ?

Novaluzid is supplied as a liquid or chewable tablets.
